First Playable

First Playable is the first international gaming B2B event in Italy and takes place every year in Pisa. It is the direct result of a partnership between IIDEA and Toscana Film Commission, within the Program Sensi Contemporanei Toscana for the Cinema, in cooperation with ICE for the promotion and internationalization of Italian companies and with Game Connection, international leading company in the organization of videogames business events.

The name First Playable have been chosen because indicating a very important initial phase of the game development, which usually represents the foundation for the rest of the project. It is the milestone upon which publishers invest.

First Playable focuses on videogames business, where game developers and publishers meet to establish collaborations and project together. However, this is not the sole purpose of the event: in consistency with the mission of the Association and its institutional partners, the event has the strategic goal of assisting Italian companies in growing their businesses in the competitive and ever-changing market of videogames.
