Tutto sui Videogiochi is a portal dedicated to parents, educators and anyone who wants to know more about the world of video games.
The portal offers free information and resources to understand and use video games to their full potential: guides, tutorials and recommendations on how to choose the most suitable titles according to the age of the players, how to set parental controls on the main video game platforms and how to monitor use. In addition, it is possible to find “parent-friendly” sheets for the main video games on the market that are suitable for minors.
The portal uses a team of independent experts from different disciplines, such as psychology, sociology or pedagogy, who collaborate with the site by sharing their experience and knowledge in different fields. The experts curate in-depth studies on topics of common interest, such as the use of video games in the family and at school, health protection, possible job opportunities in the sector.
Tuttosuivideogiochi.it is a project created and financed by IIDEA in collaboration with PEGI S.A., an independent non-profit organisation with social aims established under Belgian law, which manages the Pan European Game Information (PEGI) classification system for video games. The portal has been created in accordance with the recommendations contained in the guidelines annexed to the regulation on the classification of the content of audiovisual works for the Internet and video games, drawn up by the Communications Authority (AGCOM) in Resolution 74/CONS/19. Tuttosuivideogiochi.it is part of the Repubblica Digitale, an initiative promoted by the Department for Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers with the aim of combating the digital divide of a cultural nature that exists in the Italian population. The initiative aims to support maximum digital inclusion and promote education on the technologies of the future, accompanying the process of the country’s digital transformation.
