New appointments at IIDEA: Pier Luigi Parnofiello named Vice President and Manuel Del Rosso joins the Board
Milan, September 28, 2026 – IIDEA, the Association representing the video game industry in Italy, announces the appointment of Pier Luigi Parnofiello as Board Member and Vice President, and Manuel Del Rosso as Board Member of the Association.
Pier Luigi Parnofiello, CEO & Founder of PG Esports, began his career in 2006 in the marketing team at Atari Italia, before taking on the role of EU Brand Manager at Wizards of the Coast. In 2013, he joined Riot Games Europe, where he led the publishing team for League of Legends. In 2016, he founded PG Esports, a company operating in the esports sector, where he currently serves as CEO.
“Taking on the role of Vice President of IIDEA represents an important responsibility and an opportunity for me to contribute even more actively to the growth of the video game industry in Italy. I will bring the voice of esports to the Association, as esports are now fully part of this industry. Italy already has a strong audience, talent and high-quality industry professionals: what is needed now is a strategy capable of turning this potential into sustainable growth. I will make the experience I have gained both in the publishing sector and in the organisation of esports competitions available to all IIDEA members and to the dialogue with institutions,” said Pier Luigi Parnofiello, newly appointed Vice President of IIDEA.
Manuel Del Rosso, Vice President TV Licensing Italy and Home Entertainment Italy, Spain & Portugal at Warner Bros., gained professional experience at Danone and Samsung Electronics Italia before entering the entertainment industry in 2004 with Electronic Arts, where he remained for nine years. In 2013, he joined Warner Bros., where he currently manages the Home Entertainment business for Italy, Spain and Portugal, as well as TV Licensing activities in the Italian market.

The two new appointments further strengthen IIDEA’s Board of Directors, broadening the pool of expertise and experience gained across the different areas of the video game industry and contributing to the Association’s efforts to support the development, competitiveness and representation of the sector in Italy.
