The winners of the 2025 Italian Video Game Awards
Florence, 13 June 2025 – There was great emotion last night at Florence’s Cinema La Compagnia, where the statuettes were awarded to the winners of the thirteenth edition of the Italian Video Game Awards (IVGA). This is the award that celebrates excellence in video game production, and is promoted by IIDEA, the association that represents the sector in Italy. Seven statuettes in the shape of a dragon’s tail were presented to the most notable titles, individuals and organisations in the industry that have stood out over the past year.
The awards ceremony was held as part of First Playable, the leading business event for the video game industry, which also brought together investors, publishers, institutions, and development studios in the Tuscan capital this year. The ceremony was hosted by Giordana Moroni and Pierpaolo Greco of Multiplayer.it, and was streamed live exclusively on the newspaper’s Twitch channel.
The winners of this edition were selected by a jury composed of Italian and international professionals: Francesco Baldini, Lead Character Artist of Compulsion Games, William Bertin, former industry journalist and senior scout, now consultant of Sourcing in the Rain, Julia Kenny, freelance consultant and scout of Flock Games, and Lorenzo Mancosu, Editor of Multiplayer.it. The fifth juror was represented by the aggregate vote of the developer members of IIDEA.
